[/u] [/font] [li] [The Truth About Betrayal]The wind howled at the top of the mountains peak. Driftingfeather paused to look down the peak. There was a crack and a chunk of cold peak rock fell down to the depths of what lay below. Driftingfeather gulped and was nudged by her clan mate Wolfhowl. Driftingfeather followed Wolfhowl nervously. Every step made her shivver with fright. There was a powerful crashing mistral wind that came flying towards the faces of some Torrentclan cats pushing them to the edge of the peak. Driftingfeather looked back behind her to see Wolfhowl yowling for her to save him. But if Drifitngfeather saved him what would happen to her? Driftingfeather shook her head no as the mistral winds pushed her forward. There was a ear breaking yowl and Streampool fell to her death off the cliff named Icy Wind Peak. Driftingfeather watched her clan mate Streampool fall. Two other cats tried to claw their way back up the rocky peak but the mistral winds knocked them both off. Wolfhowl was the only clinger to the peak trying his best to save his own life. Driftingfeather dug her claws into the ground and took tiny steps forwards to Wolfhowl. Driftingfeather made it to Wolfhowl but instead of Wolfhowl letting Driftingfeather help him he grabbed her leg and tugged her to the edge. Driftingfeather yowled in pain as Wolfhowl pulled her to the edge. Then Wolfhowl pulled himself back on to the peak and then let go of Drifitngfeather. Wolfhowl watched her fall. Drifitngfeather yowled until she died at the bottom of the mountain along with her clan mates. Elders still tell the story of Wolfhowl's betrayal to scare the kits and sometimes to make apprentices appreciate their lives more. [/li][li] [Starclan's Touch]Midnight's shadows speckled the ground with little rays. The moon was being covered by the clouds. Even though the midnight sky, dappled with stars, looked like it didn't have clouds in it. A kit stirred in the nursery dreaming to herself. Windkit's eyes flew open to a noise that was nearby. Windkit nudged her brother Lionkit who was sleeping next to her soundly asleep. Lionkit turned away from her ignoring the two nudges she gave him. Windkit heard a twig snap in the night. There was a slight mistral wind that howled like a wolf in the moonless night. Windkit crept out of the nursery. She saw a shadow move and she gave a quiet hiss in reply at the shadow. Windkit dared not follow but the shadow seemed to look at her and it seemed to flick its tail for her to follow. So Windkit darted after it, the shadow led her towards the river. The river had quick pacey rapids. Windkit saw a gray tom sitting on the bank of the river. Windkit crept toward the cat relizing the cat had brought her here. Wolfhowl knew the kit was behind him and he grinned with triumphent. Windkit stopped in her pawsteps and gave a growl that rose from her neck and out of her mouth. Wolfhowl whipped around snarling and he lept at the kit to give her the death bite. It seemed there was a starry cat watching, the low mist by the river bank swirved and moved aside. Wolfhowl never had learned how to swim. Fallingstar the old leader of Torrentclan came to Windkit's aid. The leader attacked Wolfhowl's spirit that had come from Cloudclan. Windkit ran into the brush by the river bank squeeling with fright. Fallingstar shoved Wolfhowl into the river knowing Wolfhowl didn't know how to swim very well. Wolfhowl gave a yowl but water filled his mouth and ran down into his lungs. The gray tom sank down into the river and was carried down the trashing rapids. There was a powerful mistral wind and Fallingstar walked across the river. The water calmed and ran down the mountain smoothly. The river had been touched by the paws of a Starclan cat. Windkit told the story to her mother who believed her and changed her name to Mistralkit. Mistralkit later became Mistralpaw, then Mistralwinds, then Mistralstar. Elders and queens tell this legend to the kits to teach them about never leaving Mistralclan camp. Also some cats say that is how Mistralclan got its name from little Windkit's tale who then became Mistralstar. [/li][li] Coming Soon

[/u] [/font] [li] [StarClan's Wrath] The thunder clashed loudly and bright white bolts of lightning slashed through the midnight sky. Below the rising storm in a cold cavern in RushClan camp, was a young warrior. A young warrior named Thunderfoot. The brown tabby tom writhed and squirmed in his sleep, every time the lightning hit, he screeched. Muttering to themselves, two warriors named Sunstripe and Falconflash dragged their whimpering clan mate outside in the cold so that they could finally get some well earned sleep. That night a lightning bolt cut through the grey sky once more, striking down into the tom lying soaked to the bone in the clearing. With a pained yowl, the tom awoke, his eyes an unreal bright red. The red of a cat of CloudClan. With a yowl of pure anger, the tom arose, shaking his main of brown fur. His new blood red optics glistened with hatred. The tom then rampaged through the camp, spitting and tearing the throats of innocent cats until the cresent moon in the sky was fully hidden by clouds and the storm was roaring louder then ever, showing StarClans complete disaproval. This just fueled his madness, and he ran, ran to the highest peak of RushClan. He began to yowl, there at the very edge of the cliff. Yowl to StarClan, yowl his hatred out so it rang around the mountain in an eerie echoe. Louder then the roaring thunder, louder then the whole storm even, so loud his voice became hoarse. Suddenly, like to fangs in the sky, two lightning bolts soared through the air, striking the tom. Thunderfoot's eyes turned back to their original blue colour and he fell, fell down the mountain to his death. Elders and queens have told this story for moons, using it to scare kits into being good. Saying that if they snuck out of camp, CloudClan would possess them and they would die. That s also where Thunder Clash Cliff got it's name.
[/li][li] [The Birth Of ChinookClan]On a dark, foggy day in RushClan territory, the reak of death blew on the wind. In the white mist, two sharp yellow eyes peered out, peered at three apprentices. The beast's name; Chinook, meaning wind. Three RushClan apprentices practicing their new battle moves. Gloating and seething at one another jokingly. Having a grand old time. Gorgepaw, Bramblepaw and Whitepaw. The two peircing yellow eyes flashed like fire and a huge mountain cat let out a rumbling battle yowl. Lumbering out of the brambles, it surrounded the three apprentices. Now they were stuck, stuck between two different death scenarios. They could die at the claws at this beast, or jump off the cliff to their deaths. They chose to fight. Gorgepaw launched herself at the mountain cat's side, raking her claws along, digging them in as far as they'd go. The huge brown beast yowled angrily, revealing his two huge front teeth, the length of two long sticks. Bravely, Bramblepaw launched into battle beside his friend, scoring his claws at the cat's muzzle. Though, the monsterous thing seemed facinated in the cowering Whitepaw, frozen with fear. with another ear peircing scream, it thrashed it's claws at the apprentice, tossing him off the cliff to his immediate death. The battle went on and on, until the apprentices were battered and getting tired. Gorgepaw rushed back to camp to get all the cats to come and fight, but she found that the big cat had beat her to it, and tore through the wall of warriors easily. Though the big creature was weakened, it still managed to slaughter most cats in camp. Finally, Bramblepaw reached camp and tackled the thing, distracting it from the last cat's it hadn't reached; the four kits and their mother. Since Bramblepaw had the cat distracted, Gorgepaw went in and scored her claws across the thing's throat, cutting the wind pipe with a flawless slash. Chinook reared up, letting out one last shreik before tumbling to the ground, dead. Though there were little cats left in the clan, being only one warrior, two apprentices, one queen and four kits, they figured they had to do something to save their clan from extinction. Because Gorgepaw had so bravely slain the monster, she was elected clan leader, Chinookstar, of the newly named ChinookClan. And that's how ChinookClan was born. [/li][li] [The Discovery Of The Purple Crystals]The shadows of night fell over the cooled clearing of ChinookClan. From the shadows of the nursery cavern, two pairs of eyes glinted. A black, lanky little kit timidly slipped out of the den, followed by a large golden kit. C'mon... Let's sneak outta camp!" The golden RushClan kit mewled excitedly. The tiny black kit looked uneasy. "Don't be afraid Shadekit!" Lionkit meowed reassuringly, leading his brother towards the camp entrance. Suddenly, Shadekit whirled around, eyes glittering. "I just saw something shiny!" He whispered to his brother. Lionkit stared at him blankly, but followed him obediently over to where the black kit had proclaimed to have seen it. Lionkit looked doubtful. "I think your sight is going!" He joked. Shadekit whipped around. "No, I saw it, I swear!" He retorted sharply. Then another flicker of light illuminated the tiny corner the stood in behind the Medicine Cat's Den. "Didn't you just see that?!?" Shadekit demanded, staring at the wall. Lionkit nodded, jaw hanging open in awe. "Look!" Lionkit meowed suddenly, pointing his tail to a small crevice, only big enoguh for a cat to slip through. Lionkit squeezed himself through without waiting for a responce. "Lionkit!" Shadekit whispered loudly, in fright. There was a pause, and Shadekit thought he'd never get a responce. "C'mon! It's so cool in here!" His brother's hushed voice called. Shadekit hesitated at first, but then slipped through the crack easily. "Lookit.." Shadekit murmered in awe. For what he was looking at, was a cavern with walls of shiny purple stuff. Crystals. [/li][li] [The Battle Of Beliefs][/i][/li][/ul]
