Short Description: A small, haunting ghostly silver tabby she cat with pale blue eyes
Appearance:
Cryptstar is a rather small, haunting looking she cat. That is, to say the least. Her build is thin and rather lanky with muscles yet rippling beneath her shaggy coat. Some cats call her beautiful and envy her, others think she's just the freaky, frightening leader of WihspClan. Both descriptions fit her. She's just overall a spookt cat to come across. Thin, muscular and always wearing a gaunt expression. Not all cat's who meet her find her too charming at first sight.Personality:
Cryptstar's pelt is long since she is a Maine Coon cat. Though, she doesn't look like most of the colourful maine coons you'd see roaming the forest of the clans. She's more like a ghost. Her coat is of silver silken hairs, tinted with darker grays in a few places. Quite the sight she is. She is silver all on her back, up to her forhead and silver down to her tail tip. Her chest is light light grey, or white maybe, as well as her paws and face. Over the silver she has swirly or smudgy black markings, that make her appear all the more stunning really. Though, mostly, she looks as faint as a ghost and most mistake her as one.
Cryptstar's legs are long and her paws small. Even though her paws are so tiny, she is still able to run swiftly and with great agility. Which brings us to another reason why cats find her so terrifying. She seems to glide along the forest floor as she runs, making her seem even more like a ghost. Cryptstar's legs are ringed with black markings that are slightly smudged looking. Her paws are white, like her
chest. Her tail is long and feathery. The black swirling markings end at her very tail tip, and his whole tail is silver like the rest of her.
Cryptstar's face is smaller to fit on her miniscule body. She has a few small black markings on her face, but they look more like tabby marks. She has two large ears perking up from her head, silver but tipped with black. The bridge of her nose is light grey ending at a small faded blue-ish nose. On either side of her nose is a faded misty blue eye. Ghostly enough to make an enemy freeze in fear, dead charge. Misted enough to make any cat gawk in awe. Her whiskers are long and white.
Cryptstar's personality is actually quite straight forward. Easy enough to explain. Er... well maybe not actually. Basically, her personality matches her looks. Spooky, ghostly, dark, quiet. Not really a cat one would like to meet while taking a midnight stroll. Cryptstar only acts naturally. So for her, it's very much natural to be ghostly.History:
Cryptstar is rather reserved, and quiet. She isn't exactly a chatty-kathy to the company of most cats and will often barely speak, even when spoken to. Cryptstar likes to distance herself from the other clans. She doesn't mind being mutual, but she doens't want to be choosing sides when it comes down to war and battle. Cryptstar really has no urge to cause skirmishes beetween clans by taking territory and prey. She thinks it's unreasonable, and that StarClan will repay them for their hardship and loyalty to the code. She does however, have unwavering loyalty to her clan and will try to do anything for the good of it. But of course, she will not disobey the warriors code to do it. Sometimes, she can be slightly harsh and unforgiving, with a rather remorseful nature. Cryptstar will not stand for disloyalty, but she will be reasonable in any matter. Period. So, you'd imagine she has a pretty toned down temperment, which she does, and uses on a regular basis. Cryptstar is creepy and a seemingly dilusional at times, but there's more.
Cryptstar is fairly secretive. Well secretive about things in her clan, of which she is very protective of. She will state how her clan is doing truthfully, and won't deny it's state. She is a mastermind, a quiet one. She knows what she's doing. Cryptstar is rather quiet at gatherings, never sharing much about her doings and her odd seeing power. Cryptstar is not particularly bossy, but as I said, a genious. And, she will not bully cats into doing what she wants. She won't make you do anything if your not up for it.
Lastly, Cryptstar is a bit different from all the other cats. She sees what most do not. Even leader-wise. She runs off in the middle of the night because of dreams, and may sit in front of something for days without saying a word or taking her eyes off the spot. She speaks with all manner of spirits, StarClan, CloudClan, and even other animals. A lot of the time she doesn't even need to be laying down to fall into a dream. Sometimes it just comes. So, she's like half medicine cat.
Cryptstar was born right into ChinookClan, giving her pure blood. A fact she doesn't even both to adress seeing as she sees every cat as equal, even a kittypet she will give a chance. She was Cryptkit then, a quiet, selfless and wise kitten. She received odd dreams at that age, ones she never understood. She was a guardian to her two siblings Butterflykit and Dashkit. Her parents Blackflame and Saharawinds didn't find her ways at all charming. They thought she was crazed and evil. Which, she wasn't of course. She was always besting her siblings and any other kit in the nursery, but never rubbing it in their faces afterwards.IC:
As an apprentice; Cryptpaw, she made few friends not even a little like herself. They all were pretty close, but the others, meaning the other apprentices, mostly thought she was looney. They were barely a gang at all. And Cryptpaw, she was apprentice to the leader, Moonstar. Cryptpaw secretly idoled this calm level-headed leader, she worshipped the ground she walked on. Cryptpaw wanted to be just like her. Well, she did I guess you could say.
At the age of 12 moons, she was finally given her warrior name, Crypticdreams. Crypticdreams was trained extra long for extra meetings between herself and Moonstar where they spoke of StarClan together. This made Crypticdreams all the more serene and wise. Her leader tested her one final time when she secretly took her along to dream with StarClan at the Moonstone. She succesfully entered a StarClan dream and her leader saw her as worthy. Days later, as Crypticdreams had prophecized, the deputy Redmoon died of a heatstroke. Crypticdreams was made deputy immediatly without a thought.
One fateful night, BuranClan came charging into ChinookClan's camp. Everyone was caught by surprise. The ChinookClan leader killed by Flamedstar, ripping away her last life in. In fury, Crypticdreams killed the BuranClan leader with unlikely ease, taking all 3 remaining lives. Though she immediatly regretted it. All the cats from StainedClan then fled, terrified of Crypticdreams and her freaky glowing eyes. So then Crypticdreams got the name Cryptstar. End of story.
Beyond the hellish scene going on below him, a small ginger kit sat atop the Smooth Stone. He stared down every cat in camp. Even staring intensely enough at an apprentice to make it slip back into apprentices den in fright. Why so many feared him? When he was frustrated or angered, his eyes blazed a crimson red color. No cat had red eyes, it was weird, it was un-cat like. That's why so many apprentices stayed away from him, and why warriors muttered rude things about his parents behind his family's back.
But none of this was Sinnedkit's problem, no not in the slightest. He didn't care much what vibe he gave other cats. Though he liked that cats would purposely slip away whenever he walked by. The way he slunk in the shadows, cats often snarled quietly that he should have been born in ShadowClan, or maybe even BloodClan. All of his siblings in fact. No one in the clan liked these kits, or their parents for that matter. See, Sinnedkit and his siblings were well known to stir up trouble and make the lives of cats just that much harder. Surprising a litter of kits had that kind of power, isn't it? The power to make full grown warriors shrink away in fear of Whisperkit's blackmailing, Daggerkit and Plaguedkit's evil, Sinnedkit's trouble making, Demonkit's snarling insults, and Poisonkit's bullying. And Sorrowkit? She was just there. No kit in this litter liked her. She was too quiet, to reserved and too... depressed. She never wanted to wreak havoc, she never wanted to have fun at the expense of others. What kind of fun was that?
Sinnedkit snorted as he stepped forward to perch on the very edge of the warm black stone. His washed out green eyes flickered in amusement as the warrior went flying into the thorn barrier. So clumsy. Stupid warriors. He laughed inwardly, grinning wickedly. At least living in this stupid place offered some amusement to him. Sinnedkit had always been so disgusted in the ways of RiverClan. He noticed some RiverClanners sunning to the side of camp near the river and scoffed at it. Stupid fur balls. Lolling around in the sun and weaving stupid little feathers into their dens. What crowfood! I bet no ShadowClan cat would dare touch water. I don't want to touch water! I want the shadows, not the sun! He though, scuffing his paw in the dirt in frustration.
Moments passed as the small flame-pelted kit sat up there. He waited until the Medicine Cat ran out and dragged the thorn-covered warriors into the den before laughing openly. He wasn't supposed to be on that stone in the first place, that was where Shadestar sat to address the clan. Ahh who gives a rat's butt. He thought with a devilish grin. Ah the thrills he would have when Shadestar came scurrying out of the den to scold him. Sinnedkit was only a kit after all, he could say a warrior told him he could go up there. "Nice one Whisperkit!" He yowled down to his sister, eyes brimming with amusement.
